SELinux – улучшенная система безопасности, которая дополняет классическую систему безопасности Linux. Для многих реализаций на Linux, SELinux избыточен и его можно без зазрения совести отключить. Существует множество способов, как это сделать. В этой статье приведены самые простые способы по его отключению для множества дистрибутивов основанных на Linux(CentOS; Fedora; Debian и т.п.).
Для начала убедимся, что SELinux функционирует. Для этого используем команду getenforce:
Если возвратило Disabled, то это верный знак того, что SELinux отключен.
Более полную информацию по статусу SELinux, можно получить командой sestatus
Наша задача перевести SELinux status в положение – disabled.
На всех свежих версиях Centos, SELinux находится в активном режиме. Чтобы его отключить, используем команду setenforce с параметром 0 либо Permissive (разрешающий).
Оба варианта позволят SELinux не вмешиваться в работу операционной системы до её перезагрузки. После перезагрузки, SELinux возвратит свое исходное состояние.
Чтобы SELinux не запускался после перезагрузки, открываем на редактирование /etc/selinux/config. Пример команды для редактора vi:
В файле меняем только параметр SELINUX. Ставим для него значение disabled. В итоге незакомментированные строки должны выглядеть так:
После редактирования необходимо перезагрузить систему.
Существует способ отключить Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux), методом правки загрузчика GRUB. В файле загрузчика GRUB ставим параметр selinux=0 и соответственно перезагружаем систему.
Хоть этот способ совсем не деликатный, но он всё же является действенным и приводит к тому, что операционная система начинает работать без вмешательства SELinux.

Все написанные выше действия, главным образом направленны на обеспечение работоспособности программ и служб, работающих на операционных системах семейства Linux в ущерб безопасности. Рекомендуется изучить SELinux, а после изучения настроить и вернуть его в активное – работающее состояние.
